I have just found out that power fin is no longer in business. The company most likely will be sold. It looks like Fred Schaefer in Texas may acquire it. You most likely won't be able to get anything till late next year(best guess). So if you have a power fin like I do be careful with it.

RE: power fin
It looks like this is just a temporary state of the company, as they have been acquired (or have otherwise joined forces) with the folks that make the Predator PPC. From Frederick Scheffel:
Greetings, SkyTrails LSA will soon be sharing our PREDATOR PPC manufacturing center in Wharton Texas with the POWERFIN prop company. Hence, I was hoping to get some help with transportation questions for moving the large booths & CNC machines of the POWERFIN manufacturing plant in Spokane, WA to Texas. If anyone has any experience with Rigging, and/or trucking (transporting) large machines, well, I would appreciate an email off-list (fredrick@... ) PS. The resurrected POWERFIN prop corporation will soon (by December) be ready to take propeller (hub & blade) orders again via email: Info@... or ph: (the old 800#) 800-581-8207. The phone number should be active again by mid-December and the email by the 1st week of December. I sincerely hope that this will help anyone needing replacement blades, etc. before the new flying season. Regards, Fredrick Scheffel, SFIE, CEO of SkyTrails LSA NEW Home of the PREDATOR Powered Parachute |
